Can I turn off my computer while BitLocker is encrypting?
As an avid user of cryptography and security measures, I'm wondering if it's SAFE to power down my machine while BitLocker is in the midst of encrypting my data. I understand the importance of ensuring data integrity and security, but at the same time, I need to know if there's any potential risk involved in interrupting the encryption process. Is it advisable to wait until the encryption is complete before shutting down, or can I safely turn off my computer in the middle of the process without compromising the security of my files?
